Hell Priest
The mid-boss of Act 3, encountered in the burning depths before the final climb to Archon Morkar. The Hell Priest appears in four elemental forms — Burning (Normal), Frozen (Nightmare), Electric (Hell), and Chaos (Torment) — each with distinct attack patterns and resistance profiles. Burning form spams fire AoE zones; Electric form chains lightning between party members; Chaos form uses all three elements. Defeating all four variants unlocks the full offering system in the Hero-dric Cube.
Strategy: Element-specific resist cubes are non-negotiable for Hell+. Each form telegraphs its elemental phase with a 2-second channel — swap resistance gear during this window if you have it. Frozen form (Nightmare) is the DPS check; Electric form (Hell) requires spread positioning to avoid chain lightning. Priest healers shine here — the sustained AoE damage punishes potion-only sustain.
