Hero-dric Cube Guide — Crafting, Synthesis & Enhancement
The Hero-dric Cube is TBH's crafting hub — a nod to Diablo's Horadric Cube. It unlocks at hero Level 4 (about 15 minutes in) and gains new functions as the Cube itself levels up by feeding it items.
Functions
Cube Functions
Alchemy
Unlock: Initial (Lv4)Convert unwanted items into gold and Cube XP. Use Auto-Fill to batch, but lock keepers with Alt+Click first.
Synthesis
Unlock: Initial (Lv4)Combine 9 same-rarity items into 1 of the next grade. Output item level comes from a dropdown, not the fodder.
Craft
Unlock: Cube Lv5Build random gear or accessories from materials within a chosen level range. The best early source of accessories.
Decoration
Unlock: Cube Lv8Socket single-stat gems into Rare-or-better gear. One stat per socket.
Extraction
Unlock: Cube Lv10Strip sockets back out. Destroys the material and charges a small gold fee. Gear must be unequipped.
Engraving
Unlock: Cube Lv15Socket monster-material engravings into Immortal-or-better gear. Two stats per socket.
Offering
Unlock: Cube Lv20Spend anniversary coins on a gacha for random rare items.
Inscription
Unlock: Cube Lv25A scroll adds one random stat from a large pool into Arcana-or-better gear.
Sockets
Enhancement Layers
Gear can carry three independent socket types. You must strip ALL sockets before an item can be sold on the Steam Market.

Crafting Odds
Pick a gear slot and the Cube returns one random piece — its grade is rolled from these odds, which improve with the material-level tier.

Synthesis
Synthesis Grade-Up Odds
Combine 9 same-grade items into one of a higher grade. Below Immortal it always grades up; from Immortal up it can stay the same grade. ★ = great success (+2 grades).

Extraction Costs
Gold to remove one applied stat, by tier and type. Engraving costs 2× and Inscription 4× the Decoration price.

Offering
Offering — Anniversary Coin Odds
Spend an Anniversary Coin plus a gold fee for one random gear piece. Unlocks at Cube Lv20.
Dismantle
Dismantle Value by Grade
Base Alchemy gold from dismantling a pulled piece. Higher grade pulls are worth far more than the coin's gold cost.
